CUSTOMER FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS:
How does your stock turbo snow bike compare to non-turbo snow
bikes? No comparison..especially the higher the altitude is where
How is the reliability, dependability of the turbo system? No
issues at all so far this season. Gas, oil, and ride. I do
have to tighten chain every ride. New chain after 4 hard rides due
Are you maintaining them as if you were racing motocross for engine
rebuilds and valves? Or is it even more aggressive? I dont do
anything special on the 2 turbo hondas. No maintenance issues last season
on either bike.
Does the motor still have much low RPM torque left (after adding
the turbo)? At low power settings it behaves like a stock bike. It
just has lots more power as you open the throttle. There is no noticeable
turbo lag. It comes on so smooth you actually wouldn't know there is a
turbo except for the whistling, the wastegate noise and the fact that its
time to shift because you are against the rev limiter.
First ride feedback: It rips! Spent a few hours
Saturday, and again on Sunday dialing in the bike.
On the test hill (small grade with about 10" snow to break thru,
10,000 ft elevation) the turbo bike would go thru all 5 gears then hit rev
limiter in 5th. It spins the track so hard I never got it to hook up
before I had to let off to slow down. Same hill we ran a 2010 YZ450 that
could only pull 3rd, sometimes 4th. Now if it will snow here I can get
some long rides on it and some real hills and deep powder to see how it
holds up. Can't wipe the grin off my face....
